Cannon process by zearyu Cannon process by zearyu
Just for anyone who wonders how the process goes, I still have my older tutorial in my gallery and things haven't changed that much since then except cutting steps and time. I still use Paint Tool SAI. Might try to make a lineart tutorial from people asking- if I ever figure out how to; sharing knowledge is goods =O

Do you use the light grey to shade everything all at once, even the skin? Other than that, thanks so much for a very clear, concise and simple tutorial!

How do you get that flick at the end of your lineart? I have a tablet but I still get the same hard and blunt lines

It's the way you stroke it, I'd say the best example is when you use a paint brush in real life. It won't go thin to thick to thin on it's own, you have to make it do that with your own hand 8] Does that make sense~?

Yah it does make sense, I think it might just be something with my tablet it really doesnt seem to be working for me.

Be sure to double check your settings on your brush and see if 'size' is checked off as well. If it is then could be you're still getting the hang of the tablet =]

The only options my brush seems to have is "Stroke Stabilizer" and "Pressure Stabilizer" and all the little boxes in the advanced setting are checked. But I just checked in Photoshop on the "Shape Dynamics" option and even with my tablet in the computer it still says I need a pressure sensitive tablet to use that kind of stuff. So does that mean mine isn't pressure sensitive ?

It might not be detecting it possibly xD If your strokes look the same as when you use a mouse then it's not detecting the tablet driver. If it looks slightly different than using a mouse then it's just how you're drawing xD
