How to turn layer into clipping group

What you draw on the clipping layer only shows up on top of what you clipped it on top of, clipping layers don't stack over another and will continue to work only on that base layer.

Nothing will show up on the clipping layer if there's nothing underneath it. A clipping layer will also not work if there's no layer underneath it to clip on!

i don't have the clipping group tool but i have the layer clip tool

If it's in that spot it's probably the same thing! Newer versions or more updated english patches may have a different translation

If you mean selection source that's just what you check off for what you want to be your..well selection source xD this applies to the paint bucket tool and magic wand and etc
